Faerie Solitaire [Game Download]

Faerie Solitaire [Game Download] Review

See more picture

This really takes basic solitaire above and beyond. I love all the layouts and different goals to beat certain ones, like ice walls or rose vines. I also love the cute, fairy graphics, much nicer on the eyes than plain old cards. The added pet element adds fun as well, reminding me somewhat of pokemon. You can find eggs under certain cards, hatch them, raise them and find certain gems to help them evolve. There are also certain bonuses you can save up funds to buy, like extra undos and power ups that work from cards you can't use. I also liked the journey/adventure part of this. Each level has 9 levels you have to beat, and each level of nine has certain goals. Like completing X amoung perfectly, or earning X amount of $ or getting X amound of combos in a row. I really liked all these aspects as it made a whole new game out of solitaire, adding new challenges and making the replayability high and fun! Highly recommended to all!

Faerie Solitaire [Game Download] Feature

  • Over 400 Different Card Layouts.
  • Gorgeous Backgrounds.
  • Collect And Evolve All 32 Pets And Learn Their Secrets.
  • Play With The Faeries In Faerie Land.
Imagine the most addictive, compelling, and fun version of solitaire you've ever played, mix in some faeries, and you have Faerie Solitaire. Aimed at being entertaining for the whole family, no matter what age you are. With 8 worlds, 40 levels, over 400 hands to play through, loads of upgrades to buy, and one exciting adventure, Faerie Solitaire will have you hooked for months!

Great solitaire game! - P. Sherman - Greenville, FL USA
I just finished this game (which is one reason for 5 stars--it has an end!), and will miss playing it. I played in "normal" mode, which is challenging but doable. I had to repeat 2 levels, but got them the second time around. I didn't get the whole deal with the strange animals that evolve....didn't seem to be any point to it. I recommend this game if you are a solitaire fan. Once you have met the goals of each level, you can play just for fun (and for the money, so you can buy helpful add-ons). Very relaxing game.

Super Game House Solitaire Collection

Super Game House Solitaire Collection Review

You can actually subscribe to their website, but I plan to buy the hardcopy here sooner or later, if not as a direct download through them. Overall, the games are worth it since they give directions between each game if you need them. There is a game you can play with a deck of cards here that my mom and I both enjoy, called Lucky Fans, or Lucky Clover Solitaire, and that would basically replace the Spider and basic solitaire games that are on the computer already. It's a time waster and good fun. (Haven't learned to many of the others, but some are simple enough you don't have to fret about losing every match). The music is also a plus, but my mom plays with her own music on. The sound effects and animation also add some nice depth. If you're at all interested, the gamehouse website has all the small games you'd ever want. Some are from the creators of the children's book series "I Spy." A lot of fun.

It Might've Been Good 20 Years Ago - Skip Rohde - Asheville, NC
These games look like they were originally coded for Windows 3.1. The only updates they've received since then have been to try to make them run on newer operating systems. The graphics are junk and the software locks up half the time. I think the sale price just about covers their entire "updating" budget. You can do better.
